Undiscovered trait (Mythical)

Category: Traits
Species: Djubetos (Mutated subtype)

This trait hasn't been seen before in a djubetos. Allows a user to apply something that hasn't yet been logged into the trait dex, or mimic any existing trait. We cannot guarantee that something similar will never be released, but should that happen, feel free to obtain and apply the new trait item and do something else fun with the undiscovered trait slot!

A single djubetos cannot have more than one undiscovered trait!

Obtainable via the purified mutagen item.

Plasma flux

Plasma flux (Scarce)

Category: Afflictions
Species: Djubetos (Mutated subtype)

This affliction gives the effect of fire or electricity on a djubetos's tail and body. It's caused when a djubetos is exposed to a tremendous amount of energy at once, be this heat, electricity, or something else. The excess energy will pool in the djubetos's tail and tear through the membrane, causing irreversible damage. Over time, this hole will continue to degrade as the djuebtos uses the tail,  causing the inner plasma to leak out, causing a fire or electricity effect in the tail. If the divider between the tail and body becomes damaged, plasma may leak out of body parts as well.

The end stage of this affliction is complete loss of tail membrane, giving the effect of a fire or smoke tail.

This condition differs from a tail injury, as most tail injuries will heal over time. Plasma flux is when the amount of energy escaping the tail is so excess that the membrane can no longer heal.

Djubetos with a severe enough case of this affliction will struggle to survive in open space as their body uses tremendous amounts of energy to keep up with the energy escaping from exposed tail plasma. They will also have difficulty regulating body temperature as raw plasma leaks into their main body from the tail.

Obtainable via the Photon reactor core item.

Husk Parasitosis (Scarce)

Category: Afflictions
Species: Djubetos (Mutated subtype)

The djubetos is infected by a parasite known as a Huskworm. This worm kills the djubetos and merges with the heartbrain, which in turn combines its consciousness with the remaining traces of its victim's, creating a new identity.

Obtainable via huskworm larva item.

Licorice Hexum (Uncommon)

Category: Afflictions
Species: Djubetos (Mutated subtype)

High blood sugar results in sugary growths on the body as the immune system tries to expel excess glucose. These growths typically take the shape (and flavor) of various candies and sweets such as hard candy, chocolate, cookies, and even whipped cream or icing.

These growths cannot fully replace body parts without an additional trait such as odd tail, odd horns, etc.

Obtainable via the glucose medley item.

Lycoperdontis Mist (Uncommon)

Category: Afflictions
Species: Djubetos (Mutated subtype)

Infection of the lycoperdontis puffball mushroom causes clouds of spores to leak from orifices, wounds, or even patches of skin. This behaves like mist or smoke and can be any color.

This mist cannot replace body parts such as the tail or horns and can only float around the body or leak out.

Obtainable via the vial pod item.

Cordinanis Spores (Rare)

Category: Afflictions
Species: Djubetos (Mutated subtype)

Consumption of the cordinanis mushroom causes plant and fungal growth to grow across the body. These plants may or may not stray from Earth biology, and may appear inside and outside of the body.

Obtainable via the odd mushroom item.

Species: Djubetos (Anomalous subtype)
